The vegetation od rocks and overhangs
Endemic species can be found in the steep cliffs.
Two are Dalmatian endemic plants: the Adriatic bellflower (Campanula fenestrellata ssp. fenestrellata), with penetrating blue flowers, and the desert carrot (Seseli tomentosum). There are also numerous Illyrian-Adriatic endemic plants, such as Illyrian iris (Iris illyrica), mullein inula (Inula verbascifolia), and chimney bellflower (Campanula pyramidalis).
The vegetation of crevices in the rocks, in addition to Adriatic bellflower, also include maidenhair spleenwort (Asplenium trichomanes), rustyback fern (Asplenium ceterach), and pellitory-of-the-wall (Parietaria judaica), stands of which adorn the area of the middle course of the Krka River.
The moist and shady overhangs of the tufa waterfalls are covered with communities of mosses and ferns (Eucladio-Adianthetum).
Due to the weak light, only a small number of plant species thrive, among which the southern maidenhair fern (Adianthum capillus-veneris) stands out, whose communities are particularly visible and developed in the area of the Skradinski buk waterfall.
