Forest workshop
The workshop is intended for preschool age children and students in the lower grades of elementary school
The forest workshop is a kind of step forward in learning about and interpreting nature and the forest. The goal of this workshop is to offer children an original experience of nature and the forest at first hand, meaning in an authentic place: in the centuries-old downy oak forest in the vicinity of Stinice. Among the interesting tasks of the forest workshop are recognising the bark of different trees, getting to know the microworld of insects that live under the bark of trees, observing nature through the eyes of an insect, counting sounds, and distinguishing the smells of nature.
Approximate duration of the workshop: 2 hours (including a break)
Recommended number of students in the group: 20
