This workshop is intended for preschoolers and pupils of lower primary school grades.

It is designed as a PowerPoint presentation and games to teach children about the wonderous world of dragonflies. Children learn about the body of dragonflies, their life cycle and how they mate, how they fly and why it is important to protect aquatic habitats. After the presentation, children take part in a creative workshop to make dragonfly masks.

At the international level, there are increasing numbers of events aimed at raising awareness of these exceptionally important species, which serve as indicators of environmental purity and quality. This workshop has been designed for this reason and due to the large number of species present in Krka National Park.
