Accessibility statement
The Public Institute of Krka National Park is working to make its website more accessible in accordance with the Law of Accessibility of Internet Pages and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices for Public Sector Bodies (“Narodne novine”, no. 17/19; further: Accessibility Law), as transmitted by the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and Council of the 26th of October 2016 about the accessibility of websites and mobile applications for bodies of the public section (SL L 327 from 2 December 2016), and the CARNET Guidelines for ensuring digital accessibility (V 1.1, November 2019).
This accessibility statement applies to the pages at the website https://www.npkrka.hr/en_US/ and all sub-pages.
Degree of Compliance
These internet pages/websites are largely in compliance with the Law of Accessibility of Internet Pages and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices for Public Sector Bodies and the Guidelines for ensuring digital accessibility, which have been reviewed and approved by national umbrella associations for persons with disabilities. Through implementation of the new website during 2021, and the installation of an addition for adaptation to the requirements for digital accessibility, most of the requirements have been fulfilled of European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08), with the exceptions noted below.
Inaccessible content
The contents listed below are inaccessible for the following reasons:
- Individual .pdf files contained in posts and/or on certain sub-pages were not created entirely by export from the original file using the Microsoft Office Word tools option for accessibility, or they are not accessible as they were not suitably prepared for the screen readers, as such .pdf files were downloader from earlier prepared websites or they were created prior to the creation of this website,
- A small part of the photos does not have a suitable text description (alt text).
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on June 1, 2020, according to the Accessibility Statement Template that complies with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, as determined by the Implemention Decision of the EU Commission in 2018 /1523 (October 11, 2018). For the preparation of this statement, an automated check of the accessibility was made, using the WAVE tool. The Public Institute of Krka National Park commits itself to checking the accessibility of its website at least once a year, and to remove any noted irregularities and also revise this statement.
